VMware vCloud Service Evaluation

If you have never tried the vCloud suite of products from VMware it’s time you do now. Announced last month, the vCloud Service Evaluation provides a quick, easy and low-cost way for you to learn about the advantages of a vCloud though hands-on testing and experimentation. You can sign up for the beta here: www.vmware.com/go/vcloudbeta

Here’s what the main registration console looks like:

vCloud Evaluation

It’s pretty easy to create the account and it hardly takes 10 minutes to complete, you must apply the promo code “VMworld50” for a $50 credit towards your vCloud environment.

So how should you use it , In my opinion best use case is to learn the product and get your self familiarized with the product suite , this will also help people who are looking at some information on how the VMware vCloud suite works and want to evaluate the product for their company’s private cloud initiatives without actually getting into procuring hardware and go through some lengthy POC phases.

People who are looking for public cloud deployments can go to vcloud.vmware.com: the gateway to the world’s largest network of certified compatible public cloud services, including more than 145 vClouds in 28 countries.

  1. Hi Samir,

I am planning for VMware VCP n VCAP cert. Plz guide me through n also gv m rough idea how should I plan it .
One more query is dat how much I will be paid after doing the certs.

    • No idea on the pay you will get after VCP or VCAP , depends on your experience the profile you get into. For VCP and VCAP you have to start by following the blueprint and lab time. You will also get plenty of resources on internet with sample tests for VCP.
