thinkingloudoncloud.com is the personal blog of Samir Roshan and has a strong focus on Virtualization, Cloud Computing and Enterprise Architecture.I will also be writing about Hyper Convergence , Software Defined Storage and Openstack.

This is a humble attempt of using this platform for learning and sharing.

What do I do?

I currently work in PreSales Systems Engineering team of Nutanix , I work with Large and Strategic accounts throughout APJ.

Credentials

I am a VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX#124) along with other certifications such as VCP 2/3/4/5 ,VTSP 4/5 , VSP 4/5 ,VCAP4/5 DCA,VCAP4/5 DCD, VCAP DTD, VCP-Cloud and VCP5 DT. I also contribute to VMware Communities , you can find my profile here.

I am also a NPP (Nutanix Platform Professional) , NPSE , NPSR and a VMware vExpert for year 2013/14/15.

    First of all, congratulation for all your certification in VMWare.

    I am Working as a windows admin currently. Now I want to explore myself on Virtualization technologies, please help me out with from where i can start on VMware. I have enquire about VMware VCP 5.1 which is having 5 days training and exam. So can i join directly to this or do I have to learn basics before joining this course? if yes from where i can get Ebooks, Videos to learn basic about VMware vertualization.
